Sony is expanding the availability of the XPERIA ZL2 but the device will still not leave East Asia – the new market is Taiwan where the device will be known as Xperia Z2a. It's almost exactly the same, except the internal storage has been cut in half to 16GB (there's a microSD card slot). The phone earns its association with the Sony Xperia Z2 is a 20.7MP Exmor RS, Snapdragon 801 chipset and an IP58 water-resistance rating. It has a slightly smaller screen – 5.0" 1080p LCD – and its thicker by over 2mm compared to the Z2. Also, the back is made of plastic rather than glass, coming in Black, White and Turquoise.
